We focus on conceptual modeling and the digital transformation of business models, value networks, and enterprise architectures, with particular emphasis on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and business process innovation.

The OMiLAB at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences (HHN) is a creative and experimental environment that empowers students and researchers to explore the full potential of conceptual modeling. It combines analog and digital methods to design, simulate, and test business models, processes, and digital solutions in an intuitive and hands-on way.

OMiLAB@HHN is embedded in the Business Information Systems program and will be integrated into various courses, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and modeling. Beyond teaching, it serves as a platform for applied research and regional collaboration. Planned projects with local companies focus on developing digital business models and applying AI in business processes.

Key research and teaching topics include:

About the Hosting Organisation

Heilbronn University (HHN) is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. With a strong focus on engineering, business, and computer science, HHN offers more than 60 bachelor and master degree programs across its four campuses in Heilbronn, Heilbronn-Sontheim, Künzelsau, and Schwäbisch Hall.
